Bienvenue

So my journey begins, I officially have to take care of my responsibilities. I am an adult and want to begin the first step of something that I hope will be internationally recognized someday. I am heading to an amazing internship at a company that has started my career in this industry. I don’t know exactly what I want to do specifically in this industry. I mean, who does? When you only know your passions, and barely have begun to acknowledge all your own strengths and weaknesses. All I know is that is style is my passion. I want to transform lives. This pilot of the blog is only a modest measure of what is to come. I aim only for discovering the best and that means this is going to be honest, global, progressive, sophisticated but most of all original…

Here goes nothing.

In the words of one of the most inspirational icons in fashion:
“Absence is to love is what wind is to fire. When it’s a small fire the wind kills it, but when it’s a real fire it intensifies it…”

Oh well I love the French. I speak French. Will be living in France in August. I like things a bit mixed up, but still glistening with authenticity. I’m a dreamer with gargantuan ambitions and goals. I have strong opinions, but I am a conscious listener. My way of life is shared with 17 other unique individuals whose stories will soon be shared. I’m writing a book. I have a love hate relationship with independence. My style is once said to be urban bohemian, but I find it with American simplicity intertwined with a touch of European vamp. I love prints, the color purple and v-necks. I need culture, blue skies and my notebook. My daily prescriptions are Starbucks and the WWD morning report. My obsession with stationary has led me to keep a journal since the day I learned I could write whatever I want. One more thing, I have coined phrases that if you choose to follow this blog, you will become very familiar with. Oh and I’m not a brand snob, I like to see humble beginnings work themselves out.
